International Theme: “Be The Inspiration”

Tina was born in Virginia Beach, VA and she spent majority of her childhood there. In 1983, she moved to Reno, Nevada with her late husband Barry and graduated from Northern Nevada Real Estate School in 1985. Tina has served on multiple committees for the Reno Sparks Association of Realtors, and has held many state committee chairs throughout her years. Once becoming a mom of two daughters, she stepped back from these volunteer leadership roles to spend time serving as a parent volunteer in the classroom. A few of Tina’s favorite volunteer roles included being PTA President, a Girl Scout troop leader, and softball coach.

Tina and Brian married in August of 2004, and have a blended family of two daughters, three sons and five grandchildren. Rotary is one of the many passions they share. Tina has served as the Charter Secretary for the Rotary Club of Sparks Centennial Sunrise, as well as Club President in 2010-2011. After serving as Club President she resumed her role as the Club’s Youth Service Chair while serving at the District level as Literacy Chair, and then Co-Chair for Interact. Tina served as a Co-Assistant Governor for Area 8 (Reno/Sparks clubs) from 2014 through 2017.

Tina is the Broker/Owner of HomeGate Realty of Nevada and celebrated 30 years in Real Estate in March of 2016. She has the best group of agents who work for her, including her own team that handles it all when she is absent for Rotary or taking a much-needed vacation. Brian is a retired contractor, who enjoys his many projects and farming on their 10 acres of land.
Tina is a Paul Harris Society member. Tina and Brian have each become Paul Harris fellows and are Major Donors. Together, they enjoy traveling, gardening, time with their grandchildren and of course all the good times they have with their Rotary friends.
